Richard was excellent at putting our minds at ease when it came to the Conservation rules we had to abide by, we thought that as a result of this, our design would have to be fairly minimal and mundane. However, Richard came to the table with plenty of ideas and really understood the needs of not only designing a comfortable family home, but creating an inspiring space. "We approached Arc8 Projects with a very strict timeline and stressed how important it was for our business that this was adhered to. Richard was excellent and met not only all we asked of him, but exceeded our expectations. We had a month to come up with a design that was a functional workshop, as well as a client show space; provide these drawings to the council to be approved; then renovate, build and move into our new premises without losing any manufacturing time. Richard and his team were exceptional at creating designs which meant one space had multi functions. It was not an easy task when considering the restrictions of the space (arches underneath the District line) and other certain criteria we had to meet in order to not interfere with the structure. It is important for us that our employees enjoy the space in which they work - so thank you Arc8 Projects for really making what was almost an impossible task, a workable reality. Victorian cottage extension more » « less

"We engaged Arc8 Projects to design an extension to our Victorian Cottage as well as create a contemporary feel internally. We were stuck for design inspiration and how we could add value but also make the house a home for our growing family. I could always rely on Richard to return my calls that day, turning around designs quickly and sitting with me to change designs in real time. Richard designed an extension to the kitchen creating a larger space and utility room as well as space upstairs for a third bedroom which also meant we could change the steep and dangerous staircase which was a major concern for us with two young children. We had to deal with a very difficult neighbour who delayed council planning approvals and the party wall agreement but we were lucky that Richard’s knowledge and design skills found a way around these issues to ensure that building could start as quickly as possible. We are thrilled with the results and would recommend Arc8’s services for anyone who doesn’t really know where to start. Thank you Arc8 team!"
